Consulting and Technical Support
School Ministries’ members receive experienced and customized
support ranging from dealing with local school boards to
logistical challenges such as insurance coverage. They don’t
need to reinvent the wheel, and help is only a phone call away.
Training Opportunities
School Ministries wants your program to have a nucleus of leaders that will be able to effectively reach the children at your school. The annual National Released Time Conference
is a great opportunity to receive this training.
While at the conference, leaders will have the opportunity to learn new techniques, network with other programs across the country, and discover new ways that Released Time can impact your community.
IRS 501(c)3 Status
The Federal Government protects non-profit agencies from the burdens that could limit their ability to help others.
Since Released Time programs are not run with the goal of profit, your Released Time program can benefit from this tax exemption. Having 501(c)3 approval also helps when fundraising, as donors and sources of grants often require that
the organization have this status before giving money. We help you through the 501(c)3 application and process.
Member's Zone
School Ministries’ webpage has a members’
only section that provides a wide variety of resources of
value to local programs including information on efforts of
other programs and numerous templates ready to use locally.
School Ministries Logo
The professionally designed School Ministries logo will give your program a vivid sign of distinction within the community.
By becoming a member, you can receive the rights to use the logo, saving hundreds and even thousands of dollars from the design cost of creating your own.
Research and Publications
School Ministries monitors and sometimes
undertakes national research that documents the value of
Released Time Bible Education and alerts members to these
studies. It also produces various publications that can
support local efforts such as the national brochure
available in the First Steps Pack.
Technical Support
Having problems securing a location for the program? Investigating insurance policies confusing to you? Don’t know where to look for volunteers? Is the community unaware of your ministry?
School Ministries’ members receive all kinds of technical support from experienced leaders that will help you overcome obstacles as they approach. The leadership team at School Ministries is always available to see that the needs of our
members can be met.
