School Ministries’ Value Added to Released Time Bible Education Programs

School Ministries (SMI) partners across America are bringing hope and transformed lives to youth through Released Time Bible Education (RTBE). Since 1990, School Ministries has been supporting local communities in providing Bible education during school hours. In working with local programs, SMI has developed significant value-added services to enhance local efforts and to advance RTBE programs nationally. These services include the following.

1. Focusing National Attention to the Benefits and Opportunities of Released Time Bible Education.
2. Promoting the Establishment of State and Local Released Time Programs Across America.
3. Assisting RTBE Programs to Obtain 501(c)3 Status Including Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation.
4. Providing a Forum for Fellowship and Support among RTBE programs.
5. Enabling the Effective Training, Sharing of Successful Methods, Lessons Learned and Materials to Reach Students.
6. Providing a Rich Source of Training Materials if Needed.
7. Making Available Required Group Insurance for State and Local RTBE Boards.
8. Fostering the Passage of Legislation in Support of Released Time Bible Education.
9. Establishing and Maintaining a National Website to Enable Effective Communications, Support and Materials to and among RTBE Programs.
10. Generating Awareness and Support for the Establishment RTBE Programs Nationally.
11. Providing On-Call Expert Consulting Regarding RTBE Program Questions.
12. Partnering with Other Christian Ministries to Reach America’s Youth.
13. Stimulating Effective and Biblically Sound RTBE Programs.
