What School Ministries Does

Since 1991, School Ministries, Inc. (SMI), has supported churches and communities in establishing Released Time Bible Education (RTBE) programs that allow students to participate in Bible study during school hours. [Click Here for information on released time programs] SMI accomplishes this by:

• Conducting and making available research on the impact of RTBE programs.
   
• Documenting the legality of RTBE programs.
   
• Providing handbooks and other materials to assist in the starting and managing of RTBE programs including forms that will be needed.
   
• Offering training and conferences for leaders, teachers, school administrators and volunteers.
   
• Providing networking opportunities with experienced RTBE providers.
   
• Providing administrative support.
   
• Offering professional non-profit management and fundraising counsel
