Changing Lives for
Eternity is the theme for this year’s conference.

This theme underscores the why of Released Time Bible
Education -- to reach children with the Good News of God’s
love. The luncheon theme speaker is Dr. Glen Schultz, a
nationally known Christian educator.
The agenda is rich with opportunities to explore issues
of known interest to teachers and board members/
directors. In addition, there are early bird focus
groups for those interested in starting new programs and
for those interested in for-credit programs.
The conference will begin with what is always a
highlight for participants—the sharing of news from the
affiliate programs and state networks on how God has
been working in and through their programs as well as
sharing challenges that need prayer. And then we pray!
This year’s conference is being hosted by the Christian
Learning Center of Greenville, SC.
Lunch costs are included in the registration fee.
Prayerfully consider joining us as we unite with our
sisters and brothers in sharing the vision and best
practices of Released Time programs as they change lives
for eternity.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Dr. Glen Schultz— Theme Speaker
An educator for over 40 years and SMI’s
newest board member, Dr. Schultz currently
serves as an Associate Pastor of Sherwood
Baptist Church and Headmaster of Sherwood
Christian Academy.
He has served as a public school chemistry
teacher, a Christian school science teacher,
high school principal and superintendent.
He also served as the Southeast Director for
the Association of Christian Schools
International and as director of Christian
school resources at LifeWay Christian Resources.
He is the author of the booklet A Parent’s
Greatest Joy and the book Kingdom Education:
God’s Plan for Educating Future Generations. |
